Swann: Delightful Hot, Disgusting Cold
The estimable Greg Swann:
"Libertarians will say that wars should be privately funded and should deploy hired men-at-arms. Perhaps so, although I think that, like most libertarian arguments, this ingests the current context in whole and changes only superficial details."I admire the man, net.knows I do, but when I see him like this, I think I'd rather just go whack golf balls or something, and I am not a golfer.
Here's an alert: there is nothing -- never, ever -- "superficial" about voluntarism. That principle is the Master Reset of context: the essential "If" upon which the entire matter under discussion would turn if rationally considered.
Now, you know this, Greg. How're you gonna act?
